Glamping Anglesey | Best Glamping Pods in Anglesey Review | 2023

Last Updated on April 16, 2023 by Sinely Dhyan

So you have finally decided to take a glamping journey to the beautiful and unique Anglesey, and now you are here to find out the best glamping pods in Anglesey to enjoy your stay to the fullest. There are many unique glamping pods, hotels and camping spots available in this area of Wales. For this list, I only chose glamping pods.

Quick Heads Up
The following businesses have not supported me monetarily or otherwise. The information and opinions presented in this post are based solely on what I experienced, my observations and my research.

Best glamping pods in Anglesey

First and foremost, I’ve tried out most of the glamping pods you’ll find here. While I was able to try out most of them, there were a couple that I couldn’t, so after doing some research, I decided to include them. If you’d want additional information about a particular glamping site, simply click on either the name or a picture to be sent to their official website.

Here are the things I looked for when selecting glamping pods for this list.

  • The location of the glamping pods
  • Scenery from the pods
  • Cleanliness
  • Google Reviews
  • Price (This is a crucial factor, but for the sake of this article, I decided to consider it for the last)

Llanfair Hall

Llanfair Hall is one of my favourite glamping pods in Anglesey. You can choose from four accommodation types: barn conversion, log cabin, glamping pods & glamping tents. Personally, my favourites are the Glamping tent version and the Pod version.

The glamping pods are well insulated with sheep’s wool so that you can enjoy your stay luxuriously, even in winter. This glamp site is not restricted to adults, so feel free to bring the kids along. Pods are open to well-behaved dogs, also. However, If you planning to bring a large group, I would recommend their tent option or log cabin rather than these glamping pods because each pod can only accommodate two individuals comfortably. With selected glamping pods, you will get these

  • Underfloor heating
  • Kitchen equipped with pots and pans, microwave, freezer, kettle, toaster & cooker
  • Covered barbecue hut with seating
  • Outdoor pizza oven

Llanfair Hall in Anglesey received more than 100 reviews on google with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars.

Pods Pwll Coch

In the town of Rhosybol, Amlwch, you’ll find Pods pwll coch. Just like the previous glamping pod, this one is located in a peaceful and beautiful part of Anglesey. There are a total of 5 glamping pods available, with 1 being slightly larger than the others and able to sleep 5 people. The good news is that some of these luxury glamping pods come equipped with a private hot tub. Have to say the environment is stunning, with plenty of room to roam, a variety of wildlife, and beautiful beaches nearby.

Please note that a minimum of a two-night stay is required at Pods Pwll Coch and the cost will differ based on the pod you choose. However, their pricing is a bit confusing. Their website advertises daily rates as low as £75, so a stay of two nights should cost $150. However, the actual cost of reserving one of these pods for two days is greater than £220, with exact figures depending on the specific model you select.

Podiau Môn

Another great Anglesey glamping pod. Podiau Môn glamping pods are situated in the gorgeous Penmynydd area. The structure and facilities you get here are almost identical to the above glamping pods I mentioned earlier. Need to say that our host Katherine, is a wonderful human being. She will go above and beyond to give you a fantastic experience at Podiau Mon.

There are four different glamping pods for you to choose from. All of them are identical, including the price, but the scenery from every single one is unique. Unfortunately, there is no hot tub, but you will receive the following amenities. These were taken as it is from their official website.

  • Bedding is provided
  • Double bed
  • Towels
  • There is ample crockery for simple meals
  • Kettle, microwave, fridge and toaster
  • Electric hob and oven
  • Outside picnic table
  • Wi-Fi & TV
  • Welcome pack of Tea / Coffee/sugar/milk
  • Front door with secure lock
  • Underfloor heating
  • Electric sockets
  • Information pack on local attractions/places to eat
  • First Aid Kit
  • Small hanging area for clothes

If you’re searching for a great glamping Anglesey, I highly recommend the Brynteg Glamping. Here, you may select from a wide variety of glamping pods, each offering its unique experience. A “Geodome” glamping pod was all I’ve ever been in, but it was an unforgettable experience. In my previous piece titled “Glamping Pods With Hot Tubs In North Wales,” I referenced Brynteg Glamping, and I now welcome you to read the review on Brynteg Glamping that I wrote. I strongly recommend reading this as this is one of the best Glamping spots in Anglesey.

Looking for group glamping Anglesey. then this is the ideal place for you and your group. This group glamping site is located in Beaumaris, Anglesey and, in a single glamping pod, up to six people can stay comfortably. You have your pick of six distinct lodges, three of which feature your very own private hot tub. The interior layout and amenities provided by each of the six glamping pods are identical, except for the hot tub.

Every glamping pod has a front deck and a back deck, both of which look out over the breathtaking surroundings. It goes without saying that you get an interior bathroom. The minimum stay required to secure your reservation is three nights. It may seem like a long time, but trust me, it will go by in the blink of an eye once you are in that serene environment. You can bring your pet dogs as well.

Small note when boking this place. In case the 3-day booking option is not visible when you try to make a reservation, don’t hesitate to give them a call. If you stay for 3 days, expect to pay close to £400. However, I was there for 7 and only spent £900. Wonderfully wild glamping received more than 4.7 stars out of 5 on google.

The Cwtch@Hafod, glamping pods are located in Brynsiencyn, Isle of Anglesey. This evaluation is based on information gathered on the internet, as I could not stay in this glamping pod myself. The website isn’t very informative, so I had to rely on reviews from Google to decide if this was somewhere I wanted to visit. If I’m being completely honest, my initial impression of them was not particularly favourable after perusing their website. Strangely enough, I found that they had a perfect Google rating of 5 stars. From the reviews, I’m sure this place is also an excellent spot for glamping in Angelsey. If I ever make it to Anglesey again, I know where I’ll be staying: Cwtch@Hafod.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find their pricing packages.

Another extremely comfortable and beautiful glamping pod with a hot tub facility. Just like the Brynteg Glamping, I discussed about this in “Glamping Pods With Hot Tubs In North Wales.” This is situated in Rhosybol, Anglesey. This glamping pod is one of the more reasonably priced options on Anglesey, but it still offers the same high standard of comfort and convenience as the more pricey options up top.

Conclusion – Glamping Anglesey

Camping, or more affluent “glamping,” has never been more enchanting than it is on the Isle of Anglesey, and all of the above locations are conveniently close to some of the island’s most stunning landmarks. Views from the glamping pod are spectacular in all of these locations. If you are a beginner in glamping space and searching for a quick answer, I suggest you go ahead with Brynteg Glamping or Llanfair Hall.
